With the intention of enriching the space, which had been closed for public for a long time, and by creating new activities, PE ‘Belgrade Fortress’ opened a Souvenir shop at the restored part of the Stambol Gate on December 15, 2008.
Sets of unique tables, chairs and chests, as well as everyday useful objects and sculptures are displayed in the Souvenir shop. Belgraders and their guests can find authentic, unique and mostly hand-made souvenirs made of materials typical of this region, together with postcards, maps, guide books, publications and monographs about the Belgrade Fortress and Belgrade. The intention of presenting new souvenirs is to give a new opportunity to young artists, but also to offer original and unique souvenirs/artwork of the Belgrade Fortress to both Belgraders and guests. Souvenirs and publications issued by PE ‘Belgrade Fortress’ are available in the Souvenir shop at affordable prices.
During the summer season, the Souvenir shop is opened every day 11am-7pm, while in the winter time working hours are from 10am to 5pm.
