Its striking architecture and around 400 shops make West End City Center the most impressive and largest Budapest shopping malls.
An ideal place for shopping even if you don't have much time because it's centrally located next to the Nyugati Train Station.
Underground you'll find a Match supermarket, a Libri bookshop and one of my favourite shops Kotányi Fűszervilág, that sells spices.
Buy the famous and delicious sweets at Szamos Marcipán.
You can have good meals at the numerous eateries and cafés. There's a Starbucks cafe (open: Mon-Fri: 7.00-22.00, Sat-Sun: 8.00-22.00) on the street level floor with a small outdoor terrace overlooking the busy Váci út. A nice selection of coffee drinks, sandwiches, teas, muffins, croissants other pastries and cakes are available. Although a bit overpriced, Starbucks is still a good choice to have a steaming cuppa in Budapest.
Designer shops, jewelleries, gift shops drugstores, toy shops and many other shops.
The 14-screen Palace Cinema shows the latest blockbusters.
