Everyone knows that children are really curious. They're eager to know what's inside the TV, why the photocamera takes photos and the radio produces sounds, how electricity works and why the water breaks the light...Parents often face problems answering the questions about irons, cameras and dolls with broken heads...However, the specialists of the Republican House of Pupils' Technical Creativity (RMTKR) can help you to direct the young testers and teach them how to do experiments safely. Located in Žirmūnai, RMTKR offers you a number of clusters. Here you can learn how to take pictures, film, draw, mould, create various models of sporting cars, planes and ships, as well as learn a lot of interesting things about physics, chemistry, informatics, astronomy and radio engineering. Both infants and young people up to 21 can subscribe into our groups. The children's interests are always regarded here: specialists try to reveal all the child's talents. The creative work is always evaluated: there are up to 40 national contests, exhibitions, competitions and excursions organized for them. Young astronomers, physicists, chemists and informatics specialists have already gained victories at the national contests of Lithuanian Young Scientists, and soon will have an opportunity to achieve this in the international competitions, too. In the summertime, RMTKR organize the profile camps, where children meet scientists, perform various experiments and rest. For instance, this year young astronomists had a chance to observe Mars, which was extremely close to our Earth. The little ones are not forgotten either- there are 2-week-camps. The children get acquainted with the work of various groups and thus can decide which sphere is interesting for them. The groups are twice per week, mornings or afternoons. You can enrol during the whole year Dear parents, do not hesitate- maybe it's hight time you learnt you have a future marconi or curie in your family! For more details check RMTKR website. |
