Brodvėjaus Teatras

Unlike its original venue, Cabaret can actually be compared to the lights on Broadway. Because it is a few km away from any other legitimate nightlife, you should be sure of what entertainment is on tap for the evening so you are not stuck in the middle of nowhere and then disappointed. Tickets cost around 20-30Lt, but the cheaper seats disappear when it turns into a disco after 23:00. On the whole, this is an impressive new venue.

The place that never sleeps. Forget about reserving a table, it has now become necessary to reserve your spot on the dance floor! But just because it appears like a common man’s bar, don’t be fooled into thinking you can get in wearing a pair of sneakers. Wear the right footwear and you are guaranteed to get lucky, or at the very least, get in.

The ever-expanding pizza chain with several locations in town. The boldest and loudest location above the Hyper Rimi is designed like an aeroplane, complete with jet engines blaring during take off. All locations offer good, thinly crusted, pizza with more toppings then should ever be One of the funky favourite spots of the city`s illustrious Mayor, Užupio Kavinė is living proof that in the modern Lithuanian world, even with the EU accession complete, the artists throw a better party. This is really a fun spot to mix in with real locals with real concerns, and hefty ambitions to seek out their soul and create a masterpiece.considered, and The new club from one of the founders of gravity is the new place in town to chill. What was formerly a dark and gloomy basement bar is now a lounge and night club, with plush sofas for lounging. The ambitious venue plans to include different musical theme nights for each day of the week, including "Cozy invites" when personal collections are played and "Wicked Wednesdays" when music like disco, hip-hop, funk and breakbeat take the stage. Along with Vilnius` current burst of modernisation and expansion comes this extraordinary space. Capable of holding over a thousand people, and complete with stage, four bars and spectacular lighting among other things, Galaxy is given over to a club night twice a week. Expect to see the cream of the city`s cats here, having lots of fun and spending money.

Geležinis Vilkas

Unlike Vilnius, Lithuania and the Baltic States in general nothing changed through the Iron Wolf's extended summer slumber. It is still the most Soviet place in town, with Stalin and Lenin moulds looking on as you slam down the state's vodka. Always an adventure, and as such be careful, or else you might be left trying to remember what happened to you amongst all that memorabilia.

If you`re away from home and the comforts of the contemporary western club scene, chuck on your club gear and pop along to Club Gravity, the closest thing Lithuania has to resembling London chic on a Friday night. The atmosphere is deliberately cool, the clientele are even cooler, and you’ll find some of Europe`s top record spinners turning up from time to time too. Enter down an extended stairwell and groove through the long tunnel and get exposed to this hip world with a strong gravitational pull. Check website for summer events and party days.

What happens when a club gets too popular? They charge you entrance a second time if you leave the club before 01:00. Despite this utterly ridiculous policy, it remains the hottest club in town. If you like your music loud and your blondes louder then pay the hefty cover fee, overpay for your drinks and get ready to greatly impair, or possibly impale, your hearing.

A clean, open, warehouse-style space with a funky café area and art gallery to boot, featuring regular visits from some of the best international DJs currently spinning their things. It`s a kind of post-slack style here, and well worth the visit. A refreshing break from the average Vilnius club.

Jazz & Rock Café

So it`s nothing to write home about, but this fairly new venture tucked away down an Old Town side street does at least offer regular doses of live music (surprisingly rare for a capital city), plus you can get some fairly good food here to start off the evening. As is apparent, both rock and jazz fans are catered for, and as such expect a varied, albeit jolly clientele.

Lithuanian Wild Club

It is well known expression that you cannot judge a book by its cover. But sometimes, you can get the general impression. Inside the wild club things can be crazy and hedonistic, with sexy strippers setting the stage for arousal. The dance floor is a sweaty at times, making it a good venue to meet the person of your erotic dreams. But we recommend thinking twice if the action on the sidewalk causes any discomfort, as things can get rough inside.

Mambo Club

If you liked Sharon Stone`s dancing in Basic Instinct, then you too can be like Michael Douglas and scurry through the throbbing mass of pure sensuality that is Mambo Club. Offering the wildest dance floor in town, this is a primal Coliseum for dancing gladiators and hungry spectators.

Mano Klubas

Mano Kavinė has expanded into the nightlife business. This café used to host parties that got too big and too loud for the space. No longer is that a problem. Aurimas and his crew have opened a hip new club with a sleek bar and small, basement dance floor. The mix gels into a nice, local spot. It is a friendly and personal club with only one drawback, the staff can`t seem to figure out the cash register and the drinks are just flowing far too slowly.

Not much, if anything, has changed about this place except the name and the music, both modeled after the infamous Moscow club of the same name. What has always drawn a predominantly Russian crowd intends to keep doing so with the added bonus of Russian music. Be subtle and avoid any drunken tomfoolery so as not to alert the thugs.

Infamous for good times had and not soon forgotten. In this age of rapid club expansion and non-stop techno music, Ministerija remains intimate enough to make friends (or make out) and the music remains consistently danceable. The barmen and women like to have drinks and have fun while doing so, so keep an eye out for flying ice.

Pabo Latino

Impressive! Indigo was well-designed but a bit trashy. The dancefloor and marbles are gone. Antique sofas, orange trees, funky lamps, sultry servers, a cool bar and a menu that features some extremely impressive Latin flavours are in place. This is a definite winner, so get there!
